Fibroadenomas were markedly heterogeneously enhanced in the early stage of contrast enhancement, and tended to be uniform in the late stage.

MRI is of great value in the differential diagnosis of breast mucinous carcinoma and T2WI high-signal fibroadenomas by combining morphology, ADC values and enhancement features.
